Christmas

For many years we had had an artificial Christmas tree, but this year we decided that it had become too old and so we went to the local tree lot to get a real tree. We thought that the cats would go nuts over the live tree, but for the most part they ignored it.

On Christmas Eve we invited some friends over and just the three of us celebrated Christmas. We had Sally's best friend Shelley, who is virtually family, and her friend Jeff, who is a radio writer. Randy's friend Sara was present as well.

It was a pleasant, peaceful and delightful Christmas Eve, complete with good food, a nice bottle of Gamay Rouge, and presents.
