My Friend Emiko and I went to the Huntington Library on April 7, 2001. There are 150 acres of gardens at the Huntington along with three art galleries and a library of rare book. Most of the art is 18th century British and French art and features Gainsborought's The Blue Boy. It was raining when we arrived and shortly after the rain came down steadily, but after about an hour the rain stopped and it turned into a nice, but some what cloudy, day. We arrived about 3 weeks too early to see the roses bloom, so I will have to go back in a few weeks.
