Earlier this year Sally and I decided to remodel our kitchen. Unfortunately, we needed to use the money that we had set aside for the remodel for other things so we decided that we would try to upgrade our kitchen ourselves. The kitchen was the only room in the house that we hadn't really done anything with since we bought the house. It was really looked bad. We decided that we would remove the wall paper, paint the walls and the cabinets, put in a new window, replace the range and range hood, replace one of the counter tops and put in a new floor. We are still in the process of working on the kitchen but we have gotten a lot done.
