These are pictures that Sally and I took of the Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve on March 30, 2003. Sally and I had taken a trip to the preserve 3 weeks previous when the newspapers and T.V. reported that the poppies were in bloom, but when we got there, there were very few poppies. The day that we when was a very nice day and the wind had died down considerably from the previous day. This was a much better showing of poppies than the previous year.
